(RepublicanNews.org) – Questions regarding the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election still linger. The Trump campaign, conservative groups, and several state attorneys general filed multiple lawsuits contesting the election results. However, most were dismissed on procedural grounds, leaving the underlying questions unanswered. Arizona and other states are auditing the election results.
A new poll published on June 9 found that 29% of Republicans, or individuals leaning Republican, believed it was “very likely” or “somewhat likely” that former President Donald Trump will be reinstated in the White House sometime this year. The Morning Consult/Politico survey also found that 12% of Democrats, or people leaning Democrat, agreed.

The poll also found that 77% of Republicans, or people leaning Republican, believe Trump should play at least a minor role in the Republican party moving forward, with 57% saying he should play a “major role.”
Morning Consult/Politico conducted the poll between June 4 to 7, 2021, and 1,990 registered voters participated. The poll had an error margin of +/- 2%.
