(RepublicanNews.org) – The January 6 incident in which Trump supporters protested outside the Capitol, eventually working their way indoors, remains under investigation. As time goes on, more details about how and why the protest occurred become available. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently had her say on what punishments involved parties should face after an explosive Rolling Stones expose rocked the political world.
The Rolling Stones’ recent exclusive, published on October 24, claims two unnamed organizers linked to the January 6th protest had dealings with Republican lawmakers during the weeks leading up to the incident. The anonymous individuals allegedly attended meetings, where they directly spoke with Trump administration members in the same period.
The two sources also claim White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows had at least one opportunity to prevent or stop the January 6 incident but took no action. Officials have yet to confirm the reports, but that didn’t stop Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from speaking up the same day. She took to Twitter to share both the article and her thoughts on the allegations.
Any member of Congress who helped plot a terrorist attack on our nation’s capitol must be expelled.
This was a terror attack. 138 injured, almost 10 dead. Those responsible remain a danger to our democracy, our country, and human life in the vicinity of our Capitol and beyond. https://t.co/D0qLlaFjTh

The two organizers mentioned above are naming additional names. They say US Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) offered them a blanket pardon for a separate investigation. Furthermore, Marjorie Taylor-Greene attended a handful of briefings, as did Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Mo Brooks (R-AL) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO). It isn’t yet clear what role, if any, they played in the January 6 incident.
All three sources, according to Rolling Stone, say they would have participated in the January 6 incident regardless of whether they received a pardon.
Ocasio-Cortez’s opinions may be harsh and premature, but she’s entitled to them as an American citizen. Still, that doesn’t necessarily make her right, especially when the only evidence comes from two as-of-yet untested and unidentified individuals. Are they really telling the truth?
