Biden Plans More Climate Actions in Days Ahead

Biden Takes AGGRESSIVE Action – See What He’s Up To Now

(RepublicanNews.org) – President Biden recently signed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which addresses the rising cost of living for Americans and global temperature concerns. However, the commander in chief had to compromise on much of the bill’s climate language to get it to pass through Congress. Now, Biden is seemingly trying to make up for these losses as his administration looks to decrease the country’s volume of greenhouse gas emissions through executive actions.

Despite the IRA including the largest single investment to thwart global warming in America’s history, Biden wants to do more. According to The New York Times, officials claim the president wants to take a series of steps to implement new regulations on power plants, oil and gas wells, and vehicle emissions. White House Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy noted that the IRA’s recent passage, combined with these new measures, could result in a 50% greenhouse gas reduction by 2030 when compared to 2005 levels.

Biden previously warned he might use executive action last month when the IRA seemingly stalled in the Senate. How far will he attempt to take his crusade to address climate change, and how many more limits and regulations will he try to pass once before he’s finished?
