Bill Maher Tells Teen Climate Activists To Be Quiet

( – TV host, comedian, and political commentator Bill Maher hosts HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher.” The TV personality recently went after Gen Z during an episode of his “Club Random Podcast,” asserting they needed to stay quiet about climate change and had no room to criticize other generations.

During the episode, Maher welcomed Dana Carvey, who’s a comedian and an actor. The two personalities landed on the topic of traveling. At that point, the host declared he enjoyed flying on a private jet, asserting that the only people who didn’t were the ones who were unable. Maher admitted that Greta Thunberg was likely one of the few people who would refuse to fly privately.

The host noted that while the young activist was courageous, she didn’t represent her generation, Gen Z, at all. Maher asserted that many of the younger people in the world love to blame his generation and others for destroying the world, while doing nothing to help. The host declared that Gen Z drove just as many cars as his did, telling them to “shut the f*** up.”

Maher had made similar remarks in 2021 during an episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” During that segment, he told the younger generation to shut up and stated Kylie Jenner represented Gen Z, not Thunberg.
