Top Rapper Takes a Stab At Economics
(RepublicanNews.org) – The American economy is struggling to say the least. Inflation is the highest it has been in decades, and gas prices continue to smash record highs almost daily. The situation has become so severe that even celebrities like Cardi B are beginning to notice. She recently asked about a possible recession on Twitter.

The renowned rapper took to her account to ask her fans and followers when they thought the government would tell the American people the country was experiencing a recession. Her tweet garnished some 100,000 likes and more than 12,000 retweets in under 24 hours.
Cardi B’s Sunday tweet also received several responses. Some defended her query, while others blamed the rapper for encouraging her followers to vote for Biden. Lavern Spicer, a Republican candidate in Florida, openly blasted her for contributing to the problem.
Blame yourself, girl. You told all your fans to go out and vote for Biden🤷🏾♀️

But does Cardi B have a point?
Even the President of the World Bank Group, David Malpass, has expressed concern for the global economy sinking into a recession according to a report from BBC News. Malpass feels it’s difficult to imagine the US avoiding a recession at this point.
Bank of America strategist Michael Hartnett also warned of problems in a recent note to Bloomberg. He described it as a case of paralysis rather than outright panic.
Is Cardi B right? Is the US economy already experiencing a recession? Some would disagree, but even if America isn’t currently in a recession, one may be just around the corner.
