CNN's Chris Cuomo Refuses to Address Allegations Against Brother

( – The Cuomo family name has been synonymous with Liberal politics in New York for decades. Mario Cuomo served as the Empire State’s secretary of state, lieutenant governor, and governor for three terms. His eldest son, Andrew, is currently in his third term as New York’s governor.

The FBI and federal prosecutors launched a formal investigation earlier this month into allegations Gov. Cuomo and his COVID-19 task force deliberately underreported the number of coronavirus-related deaths in nursing homes.

Then, on Wednesday, February 24, Lindsey Boylan, a former Cuomo aide, published stunning details of an alleged culture of bullying and sexual harassment within his administration. According to her, the misconduct was so widespread it was “not only condoned but expected.”

Unsurprisingly, his younger brother, Chris, failed to mention the allegations during his CNN program’s Wednesday airing. Instead, he talked about the January 6 Capitol complex riot, the incident with the exploding engine on a Boeing 777 last weekend, and the stalled efforts by Democrats to get a deal on Joe Biden’s COVID-19 relief package.

Other major news programs ignored the allegations, too, like NBC’s Night News, CBS’s Evening News, and ABC’s World News Tonight. As the Daily Mail hinted, at some points, networks become part of a cover-up through their failure to report the story.
