(RepublicanNews.org) – Democrats have tried for years to flip Texas by pandering to the growing Hispanic population and focusing their attention on cities and suburban areas. Any hopes Democrats had for a blue wave in Texas in 2020 quickly faded as the media began calling winners in the November 3 general elections.
The rather abysmal showing for Democrats in Texas came as no surprise to Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). Crenshaw discussed the Democrats’ inability to launch their hoped-for blue wave in the state during a November 5 interview with Fox and Friends.
As Crenshaw explained to Fox and Friends, the blue wave never materialized because Texans like the current state of affairs. For instance, they like having low taxes, the state’s friendly business climate, having well-funded law enforcement, and safe communities. “The complete opposite of what the Left wants,” he noted.
Democrats may have hoped for a blue wave, but that’s not what they got.
