(RepublicanNews.org) – Everyone makes mistakes from time to time. After all, no one is perfect. Former presidents are just as inclined to make mistakes as anyone else. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, his political opponents often magnify his errors.
Democrats have been critical of Trump before, during and now after his presidency. The former president recently released a statement, accidentally using a double negative: Two words that cancel each other out and change the entire meaning of the sentence. When two negatives come together in the same sentence, they cause the statement to mean the opposite of what the writer or speaker might be trying to relay.
Trump’s use of the double negative made it seem like he was calling anyone who believed there was voter fraud in 2020 stupid or corrupt. Of course, most people who believe that Biden stole the 2020 presidential election are Trump supporters, and it’s unlikely that the former president meant to degrade his base.
Unsurprisingly, the left pounced on the opportunity to criticize Trump. Some people took advantage of the situation to attack Trump’s intelligence.
New statement from #Trump2020 What a HOT MESS of grammar mistakes. Crazy lives ON!!
1.Anybody-that- wrong (S/B who)
2.doesn't with wasn't-double negative (S/B) thinks with wasn't
3.stupid, or corrupt- NO comma
WOW Did Trump actually graduate High School?

Many liberals and Democrats sarcastically agreed with Trump’s statement. Those on the left are clearly running out of ways to attack Trump, and they’re now resorting to attacking his grammatical errors — as if none of them have ever made similar mistakes.
