Gun Control Activist David Hogg Dragged From Capitol Hearing for Outburst

[WATCH] Radical Leftist Dragged Kicking And Screaming From Capitol Hearing

( – Gun control activist David Hogg recently attended a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Capitol Police ended up escorting the March for Our Lives founder out of the room after he experienced an explosive outburst during the proceedings. Hogg reportedly lashed out at Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) during the markup of two gun control bills.

The July 20 hearing focused on the markup of the Equal Access to Justice for Victims of Gun Violence Act (H.R. 2814) and the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021 (H.R.1808).

Representative Biggs was discussing cartels smuggling drugs and humans into the country when Hogg interrupted to accuse the rep of repeating the same talking points as mass shooters. The school shooting survivor dismissively suggested that the guns weren’t coming from Mexico, but from right inside the US instead. He also accused Biggs of “perpetuating violence.”

Capitol Police immediately stepped in to escort the disruptor out of the building, but that didn’t stop him from continuing to spout off. The activist stated that the gun issue was neither a Right nor Left problem, claiming that legislators needed to put an end to the shootings either way.

It isn’t yet clear whether authorities escorted Hoggs off of the grounds completely or simply brought him outside. They have not yet confirmed if they plan to charge him with any crimes.

Rhode Island Representative David Cicilline originally introduced H.R. 2814 in October of 2021. If passed, the legislation would make it illegal for Americans to own most semi-automatic weapons. Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) introduced H.R. 1808 in May of 2021; it aims to make gun manufacturers civilly liable when criminals use their firearms in shootings.
