You Won’t Believe What Crooked Hillary Has Been Up To This Year
(RepublicanNews.org) – Hillary Clinton may have lost the 2016 presidential election to now-former President Donald Trump, but she’s remained a prominent voice for Democrats. While the once-presidential hopeful may not be on the campaign trail, she’s still pushing the Left’s narrative about her past opponent, abortion rights, and gun control. The former first lady’s political action committee (PAC) has thrown thousands of dollars to Democratic campaigns across the country as her party faces potentially devastating losses in Congress.
Fox News reported on the revelation of Clinton’s PAC donating thousands to vulnerable members of her party. With the midterms fast approaching and many Democrats in danger of losing their seats, the Left is desperately clinging to its majority in Congress. History has shown that the party in control of Congress at the beginning of a president’s tenure often loses it in the midterm election. Clinton is doing what she can to prevent that from happening.
Right now, Democrats have a razor-thin majority in the House of Representatives and virtually no advantage in the Senate. The projected best-case scenario for liberals is that Republicans only take a seven-seat majority, though that figure could wind up as high as 37. Onward Together, Clinton’s PAC, is shelling out its money to avoid a worst-case scenario.
Where’s the Money Going?
Which Democrats are the most vulnerable? Clinton claims Onward Together has contributed to at least 50 campaigns in 2022.
For me, one of the best antidotes to feeling discouraged is supporting people who are running for office. I'm so proud that Onward Together has endorsed 50 candidates and counting in 2022—including some who have worked on my campaigns over the years. 🧵

Fox News named several of the recipients, including Representatives Tom O’Halleran (D-AZ), Mike Levin (D-CA), Sharice Davids (D-KS), Dan Kildee (D-MI), Steven Horsford (D-NV), Chris Pappas (D-NH), Tom Malinowski (D-NJ), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Kim Schrier (D-WA), and Jennifer Wexton (D-VA). Clinton’s generosity has also extended to Representative Elaine Luria (D-VA), who’s received a $2,500 donation from Onward Together. Rep. Luria may be in hot water, but her role on the January 6 Committee seems to be helping her stay afloat.
Cindy Axne (R-IA) is another vulnerable Democrat who received $2,500 from Clinton’s PAC. Axne has been on the campaign trail defending the Biden administration and making it seem as though Republicans are exaggerating inflation, which recently hit a 40-year high, as if Americans aren’t feeling the pain of increased prices.
Will it Matter?
The revelation also comes at a time when a USA Today/Suffolk University poll showed only 15% of likely voters believe abortion rights are more important than the current economic issues. Furthermore, the poll found that most likely voters find the economy to be their top issue heading into the midterms, which is the issue Republicans are highlighting.
The situation isn’t looking good for Democrats, who faced a tough election cycle even before inflation skyrocketed. Campaigns take millions of dollars, so it’s unlikely that Onward Together’s donations will make much of a difference, especially with how these midterms seem to be heading.
