(RepublicanNews.org) – The saga surrounding the life and crimes of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell continue more than a year after his apparent August 2019 suicide in a Manhattan jail cell.

Ghislaine Maxwell currently faces charges associated with her long-time relationship with Epstein for trafficking minors and lying under oath during sworn testimony regarding Epstein’s alleged activities. On October 22, a court released the transcript of a long-sealed deposition from an earlier defamation suit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre.

According to the transcript, attorneys questioned Maxwell about an email she received from Epstein dated January 12, 2015. Epstein reportedly asked her to “issue a reward” to any of Giuffre’s friends or family who could “prove her allegations [were] false.” When asked if she offered any rewards, Maxwell responded, “absolutely not.”

Maxwell and Epstein also talked about attempting to muddy the waters regarding “the age of consent” by writing “a letter to the editor” of The Mail on Sunday who first reported on Giuffre’s allegations against Epstein.

Maxwell’s trial is scheduled for next summer and could include some smoking gun revelations regarding Bill Clinton, the UK’s Prince Andrew, and others implicated in Maxwell and Epstein’s alleged crimes.
