(RepublicanNews.org) – Tensions remain high across America in the wake of the highly-contested 2020 presidential election and months of social and political unrest. Antifa members and other radicals have targeted President Donald Trump’s supporters since his 2017 inauguration, but incidents appear to have spiked in recent months.
On January 4, 2021, media outlets reported that David Delgado, aged 33, received 4 years in prison for assaulting a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at a Los Angeles restaurant.
Violent Democrat David Delgado was sentenced to 4 years in prison for attacking and repeatedly punching a man because he was wearing a MAGA hat. Delgado also stole his hat. The man was seriously injured.

According to Hermosa Beach police Sgt. Robert Higgins, Delgado followed the victim to the restaurant’s restroom and repeatedly punched him and stole his hat before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered numerous serious injuries as a result of the assault, according to prosecutors.
Delgado pleaded no contest last year to a felony assault charge, and a Los Angeles Superior Court judge handed down the sentence.
As Dan Bongino reported, all too often, sentences for attacks on Trump supporters go unpunished with police officers and prosecutors turning a blind eye to Antifa-led violence. It’s high time for law enforcement officials and district attorneys to begin applying the law equally to offenders.
