Maxwell's Brother Says She Should Be Presumed Innocent Despite Evidence

(RepublicanNews.org) – Ghislaine Maxwell currently awaits trial in a federal detention center. The former girlfriend and alleged co-conspirator of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, she faces several charges for her role in the exploitation of several young girls by Epstein.

On March 15, her brother, Ian Maxwell, broke his long-standing silence and gave an exclusive television interview to ABC News, which you can watch below.

According to him, his sister should be “presumed innocent” despite the severity of the charges she faces or the public awareness of much of the evidence against her.

“Ghislaine wants to confront the accusers head-on,” he explained, adding that her family is “solidly behind her.” He said he knew little of his sister’s life with Epstein and claimed he met the now-deceased billionaire only once. Yet, he seems convinced of her innocence. He even accused prosecutors of targeting his sister in the wake of Epstein’s death in August 2019 while in federal custody awaiting trial.

Maxwell’s trial will begin in July 2021. We will update this developing story as new information becomes available.
