(RepublicanNews.org) – Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has had quite the year in recent months. Conservative firebrand Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) unleashed the hounds of hell on her in a fiery speech delivered on December 9. He didn’t hold anything back while condemning her efforts to hold the coronavirus relief package hostage.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany shredded whatever was left of her during a December 14 Fox News interview. She ripped Pelosi for caring more about trial lawyers wanting to sue small business owners out of existence than she did for the American people.
Looking towards the future, 2021 looks rather bleak for the embattled speaker. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has been outspoken about his belief that Pelosi would lose her coveted position as speaker of the House.
McCarthy noted that Pelosi’s vote margin to retain control of the House narrowed significantly after the 2020 general elections during a post-election interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo in early November 2020.
With Republican gains in the House, there could be just enough nays to remove her and put the House leadership in his capable hands.
The voters sent a clear message to Congress during the 2020 general elections that they rejected the Democratic agenda. The sooner the House can rid itself of Pelosi’s leadership, the better.
