NBC Poll Proves Voters Are Concerned With Biden’s Health

(RepublicanNews.org) – Legacy media outlets have begun to air content questioning President Joe Biden’s mental and physical health. During NBC’s June 25th episode of Meet the Press, Chuck Todd revealed that the network’s latest poll contained some unflattering numbers for the 80-year-old President.

Todd began his presentation of the new data by saying that voters “are concerned about the mental and physical wellbeing of President Biden.”

Prior to the 2020 election, only 20 percent of Democrats were concerned with Biden’s mental and physical health, according to Todd. After 2.5 years in office, that number has more than doubled amongst Democrats, with 43 percent now having concerns.

68 percent of all voters now have major to moderate concerns about the President’s state, saying that Biden “does not have the necessary mental and physical health to be President.”

In contrast, the same poll showed that 55 percent of all voters said they have major to moderate concerns about former President Donald Trump being able to carry out his duties. Trump currently leads the field of Republican candidates.

Senator Amy Klobuchar was a guest on the broadcast and was pressed by Todd for an opinion on the President’s numbers. He pointed out that the Democrat from Minnesota had just attended a state dinner hosted by Biden. Todd asked if she had concerns.

“No, I don’t,” she replied. The Senator said the President displayed “power” at his State of the Union address and that Democrats are “united behind him.”

Following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden’s approval rating dropped significantly. It remains low, with only 43 percent of voters approving of the job he is doing. 53 percent of voters disapprove.

Biden is the oldest President in United States history to seek re-election. By the time he finishes his term in 2024, he will be 82 years old. Should he be elected to a second term, he will be 86 when he leaves office.
