Neera Tanden Deletes Massive Number of Tweets Following Biden Nomination News

(RepublicanNews.org) – Neera Tanden is an avid user of Twitter, posting nearly 90,000 times since she opened her account in March 2010. Like President Donald Trump, she’s earned a reputation over the years for speaking her mind. However, unlike the president, she needs the approval of several senators she’s insulted repeatedly to secure her nomination to head the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) if Democratic-hopeful Joe Biden ends up winning the election.

On November 30, The Daily Beast conducted a review of Tanden’s Twitter account using internet archives and discovered she deleted more than 1,000 tweets from her profile since November 1. In an apparent attempt to cover her tracks, she wiped out several posts trashing leading Republicans like President Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).

Cornyn spoke to reporters shortly after her nomination to head the OMB, telling them her “combative” attitude could make confirmation “problematic.” She’s also ruffled the feathers of others, particularly Progressives like Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT).

With the outcome of the presidential election unclear and control of the US Senate up for grabs in Georgia’s January 5 runoff elections, we will have to see if Tanden wasted her time trying to cover-up her tweeting history. Time will tell.
