Transgender Inmate Charged With First-Degree Murder in Connection With Robbery

Molester Gets PUNISHED

( – Authorities have charged a transgender California inmate with first-degree murder in connection to a robbery investigation. Already serving time after pleading guilty to molesting a young girl in 2014, Hannah Tubbs, a biological male, is looking at spending even more time behind bars. Tubbs didn’t come out as transgender until after their arrest under the suspicion of child molestation.

Fox News reported that Tubbs became a controversial figure after they pleaded guilty to the 2014 attack on a young girl in a Denny’s restaurant. After the court convicted Tubbs of being a sex offender, eight years after the incident, they began identifying as a woman. Originally, the suspect’s name was James Edward Tubbs.

Prosecutors sentenced Tubbs to serve two years at a juvenile detention center. District Attorney George Gascón refused to allow the case to transfer to an adult court despite Tubbs’ lengthy rap sheet, which includes convictions for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, murder, and the sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl.

Fox News also reported that authorities caught Tubbs bragging about the case and getting away with not having to register as a sex offender. Jon Hatami, Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney, said the DA shouldn’t have to convince Gascón that Tubbs remains a threat. LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger also said authorities intend to separate the 26-year-old convict from other juveniles in the detention facility.
