Tulsi Gabbard Criticizes Kamala Harris as She Leaves Democratic Party
(RepublicanNews.org) – Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat who once ran as a presidential candidate, recently declared her intention to leave her party. She hasn’t yet spoken up to clarify whether she will become an Independent or perhaps even switch sides, joining Republicans instead. However, Gabbard did have a lot to say about Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party as a whole during a recent appearance on Brian Kilmeade’s Fox News radio show.

Gabbard said she chose to part ways with the Democratic Party because it is consumed by wokeness. The former representative of Hawaii indicated that she strongly believes in putting America first, noting that her former party stood against many American freedoms. She even suggested that some lawmakers have actively pushed to undermine them.
Setting her sights on Harris next, she labeled the vice president a prime example of all the problems in DC. Gabbard also blasted her for hypocrisy over the fact that she now supports legalizing marijuana but once helped send people to jail for possessing it as a former prosecutor.
This latest incident isn’t the first time for Gabbard and Harris to be at loggerheads. The two previously tangled during a live debate in 2019.

At the time, Harris blasted Gabbard for collaborating with Fox News to smear President Barack Obama during his time in office.
Gabbard quickly fired back, accusing the now-VP of trafficking in falsehoods. “…She cannot challenge the substance of the argument that I’m making,” she replied.

The former Hawaiian congresswoman’s departure from the left isn’t necessarily surprising. She’s fallen out with various Democrats over the years, including Hillary Clinton. While Gabbard did endorse Biden in 2020, she remains extremely critical of his administration.
