(RepublicanNews.org) – Americans have struggled for well over a year with lifestyle changes in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Harsh and often confusing restrictions took a heavy toll on America’s schoolchildren. One Florida primary school student is speaking out about his school experience the past several months, and it wasn’t pleasant.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson spoke with Martin County fourth-grader John Provenzano on May 18 about his recent experience talking to the Martin County School Board. Provenzano pleaded with board members to remove his school’s mask mandate, saying it “seems unfair” and “doesn’t make sense.”

He told Carlson that wearing a face mask for hours stressed him out, that he doesn’t “recognize anyone” outside of the classroom. Provenzano also related that one of his teachers keeps a “clipboard full of referrals” for students not wearing their masks properly. He said it frightened him and made him “feel scared.”
It’s one thing for children to be frightened and confused by the pandemic. It’s quite a different story to be afraid of teachers.
